Women in Film presidents Adeena Nair and Marija Krkovic hosted The International Collaboration, a four-day filmmaking process for Mass Communication students at Abu Dhabi University. The workshop was conducted with an almost all-women crew and a homemaker, Shweta Anand Dwivedi, as the main female cast. The story was based in Abu Dhabi and revolved around a female Indian grocery store owner managing work and household responsibilities.

The project's aftermath was highly positive, with students expressing gratitude and admiration for the knowledge they received about the filmmaking process.
